provide full support and overall legal researching, analyzing and organizing information for Japanese (Business/Domestic) law, International Business Transactions pertaining to cross-border practices between the U.S. and Japan. Assist attorneys in preparing business contracts in accordance with the U.S. and Japanese laws. Perform Japanese and U.S. legal research utilizing both written and electronic sources. Assist attorneys in brief and opinion writing. Prepare draft memos. Evaluate Japanese legal issues in the context of larger business goals and use informed judgment and knowledge of the Japanese laws to advise on risk/reward balance.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equiv. in legal studies
• 6 Months of relevant experience
