Green Cards
A green card enables a non-U.S. citizen to live and work permanently in the United States as a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR). There are several pathways to obtain a green card. Eligibility can be based on familial relationships with U.S. citizens or LPRs, having a permanent job or receiving a permanent employment offer in the U.S., being selected through the Diversity Visa Lottery, or looking for an adjustment of status as a refugee or asylee.
