Family Immigration Processing Times — 2026 Overview

Immediate Relative Categories (No Visa Quota)

  • Marriage Green Card — Adjustment of Status: 8–14 months
  • Marriage Green Card — Consular Processing: 10–16 months
  • K-1 Fiancé Visa + Green Card: 12–18 months total
  • Parents Green Card (of U.S. Citizens): 10–14 months
  • Minor Children Green Card (of U.S. Citizens): 8–14 months

Family Preference Categories (Subject to Visa Bulletin)
