Consular Processing

Green Card Through a U.S. Embassy

Consular processing is the pathway for family members who are outside the United States when they apply for a green card. The process is handled through the National Visa Center (NVC) and concluded with an immigrant visa interview at the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
